Our Approach
Esprit Therapeutics takes a strengths-based approach to your unique cognitive profile
A neuroaffirmative approach means embracing the diversity of minds and recognizing that ADHD is not a flaw or defect. Instead, it’s a different way of thinking, processing, and experiencing the world. We don’t believe in "fixing" you; we focus on equipping you with tools, insights, and strategies to thrive. Our evaluations are designed to uncover both strengths and vulnerabilities, giving you a well-rounded understanding of how your brain works.
Your culture is an essential piece of the picture
Our culturally inclusive evaluations respect and honor all aspects of your identity. We actively work to create a space free from bias or discrimination, ensuring that your cultural background, lived experiences, and personal identity are understood and valued as integral parts of your story.
For our seniors and college students
We recognize that navigating life with ADHD can be particularly challenging - between balancing academics, social life, and newfound independence, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Our evaluations can be tailored to the unique needs of college students, helping you identify supports that can make your academic journey smoother. By understanding your needs, we can help you advocate for the resources you deserve.
Living with undiagnosed ADHD can feel like you’re fighting an uphill battle, especially in a world designed with neurotypical brains in mind. These challenges are not a reflection of laziness or lack of effort—they are the result of differences in how your brain processes information and responds to the world around you. Recognizing the patterns in how you think, feel, and act can provide clarity and help you develop tools and strategies that align with how your brain works. When you begin to work with your unique traits, instead of trying to fit into a mold that wasn’t built for you, it’s possible to make meaningful changes and unlock your full potential.
How does it work?
This entire process is designed to provide a holistic picture of your unique neurological profile. Cultural factors are considered in each component of the evaluation. Once the evaluation is complete, you’ll receive a written report, a feedback session, and personalized recommendations tailored to your needs, if selected.
-
I offer a free, 15 minute consultation to answer any questions you may have. We will discuss your reasons for wanting to be assessed and ensure that our services match your needs. If you decide to move forward, I will send you the onboarding documents. Once the onboarding documents have been completed, I will collect a $200 deposit and schedule your appointments. You should be prepared to meet at least 3 times during this process.
-
During the onboarding phase, you will have completed a detailed history form, which we will go over in the first of 3 meetings. During your second meeting, you will complete a series of validated, evidence-based assessment tools.
-
During your final meeting, we will review your results, take feedback, and answer any follow up questions you may have. We will also review any recommendations or accommodations you may have requested. You will receive the finalized written report soon after this appointment.
-
We are a small practice specializing in neuroaffirmative evaluation and progressive intervention recommendations. You will be evaluated using a different assessment process than is offered through traditional insurance providers. You should expect the evaluation experience to be a thoughtful process that can take at least a month from scheduling your first appointment to receiving the finalized report.
We offer 2 levels of investment:
Level 1 ADHD Evaluation (confirmation of diagnosis with functional insights): $900
Level 2 ADHD Evaluation (typically used for accommodations): $1250
There is also a $300 non-refundable deposit that is credited toward your full balance.
Currently we do not accept insurance directly, however we can provide a superbill to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement for a portion of the cost. We also offer generous payment plans to make the cost more accessible.
